October 2026 Employee of the Month: Alycia McDuff

Monadnock Community Hospital is proud to recognize Alycia McDuff, Marketing and Communications Manager, as the October 2026 Employee of the Month. Alycia was recognized for her compassion, creativity, dependability, and commitment to supporting employees, patients, and the Monadnock Region.

Alycia approaches every project with enthusiasm and a commitment to doing her very best. Whether she is supporting internal and external communications, stepping in at the last minute to cover a meeting, or contributing her talents to one of the many committees she serves on, Alycia is someone others can always count on.

One nomination highlighted the warmth and collaboration she brings to her work:

“She makes every employee feel valued, brings a genuine spirit of collaboration to everything she does, and rarely seems to be without a smile. Her warmth and positivity have a way of brightening an entire room.”

Alycia’s contributions extend well beyond her immediate responsibilities. She has redesigned patient materials to make them clearer, easier to read, and more useful. She supports health and wellness seminars that provide community members with practical health information and strengthens recruitment efforts through job postings, social media, and local advertising.

She also helps make MCH a welcoming and supportive workplace. From spearheading popcorn pop-ups and organizing the employee holiday party to contributing her time and ideas to the Employee Enrichment Committee, Alycia consistently looks for ways to help colleagues feel appreciated and connected.

As her nomination concluded:

“It is difficult to capture everything Alycia contributes because going above and beyond is simply part of who she is. Her compassion, dependability, positive attitude, willingness to help, and consistent commitment to making a difference have a meaningful impact throughout MCH.”

More About Alycia

Alycia began working at MCH in 2018 as the Office Coordinator and later Manager of Monadnock Behavioral Health Services. An artist at heart with an educational background in marketing, she became an active member of the Employee Enrichment Committee, where she had the opportunity to flex that side of her skill set. In 2022, the stars aligned when she was able to move into the Marketing department, where her bright smile, candor, and creativity are well known across the organization.

Alycia’s favorite part of her job is collaborating with every department and getting to know employees across many different roles. She maintains that “it’s a privilege to share the hospital’s story,” attributing her success to the team beside her. In particular, she cites director Lee Ann as an inspiration for her positivity and encouragement to explore what’s possible.

Someday Alycia hopes to work at a director level herself and is motivated to continue expanding MCH’s social media presence as well as in-house photography and videography.

Outside of work, Alycia is a mandala artist who loves spending time with her corgi, traveling, and playing racquetball, tennis, or swimming. While her happy place is at the beach, you can brighten her workday with an iced chai from Maple Station or some Trader Joe’s green olives.

Thank you, Alycia, for all the joy you bring to MCH!
