Monadnock Community Hospital is proud to announce that Jessica Gifford, RN, of Monadnock Cardiology Associates, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Cynthia K. McGuire Leadership Development Award.
The award was established to honor Cynthia McGuire’s deep commitment to cultivating leadership within MCH. Each year, it recognizes one employee who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, a dedication to learning, and a collaborative spirit that strengthens both our team and the patients we serve.
Jessica is the first person to receive this recognition, making her selection especially meaningful as the award begins its legacy at MCH.
About Jessica Gifford
Jessica Gifford, R.N., works as a Practice Manager at Monadnock Cardiology Associates, where she plays an important role in supporting both the clinical team and the patients they care for. Her work sits at the intersection of patient care and operational leadership, requiring her to navigate complex situations with professionalism and a steady, collaborative approach.
Jessica’s selection as the inaugural recipient reflects not just what she has accomplished, but the kind of leader she is becoming.
About the Award
The Cynthia K. McGuire Leadership Development Award was created to honor Cynthia McGuire’s vision for what leadership at MCH can look like. Cynthia, who served as President and CEO of Monadnock Community Hospital from 2014 until her February 2026 retirement, spent her career investing in the people around her, believing that strong organizations grow strong leaders from within.
Each year, one MCH employee is selected to receive financial support to pursue a leadership development opportunity of their choosing. Award funds may be applied toward tuition, conferences, certifications, or other approved programs that build leadership capacity within our organization.
