June 2026 Employee of the Month: Courtney Dunning

Monadnock Community Hospital is proud to recognize Courtney Dunning, RN, Clinical Coordinator for Oncology/Infusion Services, as the June 2026 Employee of the Month. This month’s recognitions also highlight employees and teams across the organization who have made a meaningful difference for patients, colleagues, and the community.

“Courtney always places the needs of the patients above her own even if it means coming in on a weekend or holiday. I can’t tell you how many patients tell me how caring, compassionate, and thorough she is with her work. Her attention to detail and never quit attitude makes her the type of employee that everyone should strive to be.”

“Courtney Dunning is the model for which every employee at MCH should emulate. As the Clinical Coordinator, she filled in for the Practice Manager, who was out for 5-weeks, while also taking a full load of infusion patients every day. She did all that while also being short an infusion nurse.”

More About Courtney

This month’s Employee of the Month is Courtney Dunning from Oncology and Infusion Services.

Courtney is a Registered Nurse and serves as the Clinical Coordinator for Oncology and Infusion Services. She has been with the department for three years, though her connection to MCH goes back much further. Born at Monadnock Community Hospital, Courtney has worked in various nursing roles throughout the organization for approximately 15 years.

Her interest in nursing began in high school after seeing a friend navigate significant health challenges. One of her earliest nursing positions was on a Medical/Surgical floor specializing in oncology care, and that experience stayed with her throughout her career. When the opportunity arose to join the Oncology team at MCH, she was able to return to a specialty that remains close to her heart.

The most rewarding part of Courtney’s work is the relationships she builds with patients and families. Oncology nurses often accompany patients through some of life’s most challenging moments, and Courtney describes it as humbling to be a part of this big, intimate experience. Looking ahead, she plans to continue growing her knowledge and skills while remaining in a field where she feels she truly belongs.

Courtney’s colleagues know how dedicated she is, and in turn Courtney is inspired every day by the people she works beside. You might catch her dueting with Nichole Ibarra, fueling up on some peanut butter, or sipping some Starbucks, but no matter how she’s getting energized for her day, we know Courtney will always be putting her patients first.

Please join us in congratulating Courtney on this well-deserved recognition.
