The Medical Eye Center Welcomes Dr. Timothy Link

Dr. Link is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He offers advanced lenses so that patients can limit their dependence on glasses. He also has training in SMILE, PRK, LASIK, and ICL surgery. Additionally, he offers laser trabeculoplasty and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery for the treatment of glaucoma.

Dr. Link was born and raised in Salina, Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate studies, followed by earning a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed internship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin and residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training at Willis-Knighton in Shreveport, Louisiana, for further specialization in cataract and refractive surgery.

Dr. Link is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

The session explains nicotine dependence, carbon monoxide monitoring, behavioral strategies, and available treatment options.
