Thank You, Cyndee

After more than 50 years in healthcare, including 12 years leading Monadnock Community Hospital, Cynthia K. McGuire, FACHE, retired in 2026.

Cyndee joined MCH in 2014 and guided the hospital through more than a decade of growth and transformation. Under her leadership, the hospital expanded services, strengthened community trust, and kept compassion at the center of every decision.

During her tenure, MCH increased access to specialty care and strengthened primary care, emergency services, and rehabilitation programs, helping ensure that high-quality healthcare remained close to home for residents throughout the Monadnock Region.

Cyndee also led the organization through extraordinary challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, while fostering a culture of collaboration, resilience, and trust.

In 2023, she helped lead the celebration of MCH’s 100th anniversary, honoring a century of community care while positioning the hospital for the future.

To recognize her enduring impact, Monadnock Community Hospital established The Cynthia K. McGuire Leadership Development Award. Presented annually, the award supports an employee who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential and a commitment to advancing the hospital’s mission.

Cyndee’s steady leadership, thoughtful vision, and unwavering dedication have left a lasting mark on Monadnock Community Hospital and the communities we serve.
