Compassionate Access to Life-Saving Screenings

At Monadnock Community Hospital, advancing care often means removing barriers, especially when lives are at stake.

That is why our Women’s Imaging Center participates in the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, which helps eligible women receive free breast and cervical cancer screenings regardless of insurance status or income.

Through this partnership, women ages 21 to 64 who are uninsured or underinsured and meet income guidelines may qualify for no-cost services, including:

  • Clinical breast exams
  • Pap tests
  • Screening mammograms
  • Diagnostic follow-up care

It is both a safety net and a promise: no woman in our community should miss a potentially life-saving screening because of cost.

At MCH’s Women’s Imaging Center, patients receive care in a private and welcoming environment from a compassionate team using advanced imaging technology, including 3D mammography, bone densitometry, and ultrasound.

With every exam, every follow-up, and every reassuring conversation, we reaffirm our commitment to caring for every woman with dignity, compassion, and access.
