Overview
Celebrating a Community of Generosity

Monadnock Community Hospital was founded through an act of generosity.

In 1923, Robert Parmelee donated his summer home in memory of his wife, Alice, creating what would become the community hospital our region continues to rely on today. More than a century later, philanthropy remains an essential part of how we advance our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community.

As a nonprofit hospital, every gift helps strengthen local healthcare. Philanthropic support allows us to invest in new technology, expand services, enhance facilities, and provide programs that benefit patients and families throughout the Monadnock Region.

We are deeply grateful to the many individuals, families, employees, businesses, and organizations who supported Monadnock Community Hospital in 2025.

Honoring the Many Ways People Give

Generosity takes many forms, and each one helps move care forward.

We are proud to recognize:

  • Lifetime Giving Leaders whose cumulative gifts have exceeded $100,000
  • Members of the Parmelee Society who have included MCH in their wills or estate plans
  • Living in Our Memories donors whose legacy gifts continue to strengthen our hospital
  • Employee Contributors who raised more than $24,000 during the Employee Giving Campaign
  • Gifts in Kind from businesses and individuals who donated products and services
  • Tribute Gifts Made in Honor Of special individuals and teams
  • Memorial Gifts Made in Memory Of loved ones whose lives continue to inspire generosity
  • Annual Contributors who made gifts, pledges, or pledge payments

Each gift, regardless of size or form, reflects a shared commitment to keeping exceptional healthcare close to home.
