Monadnock Community Hospital has announced that Richard Scheinblum will succeed Cyndee McGuire as President and CEO, with the formal transition of leadership taking place in March 2026. Rich brings more than 31 years of healthcare experience and has served MCH for over 25 years in key executive and operational roles. His deep understanding of the hospital, its people, and its mission reflects a long-standing commitment to strengthening rural healthcare.

The Board of Trustees’ decision followed an extensive and highly competitive executive search process that included national outreach and multiple rounds of in-depth interviews with a strong pool of highly qualified candidates. Throughout the search, the Board remained focused on identifying a leader with the experience, vision, and dedication needed to guide Monadnock Community Hospital into its next chapter.

During his time at MCH, Rich has helped guide important initiatives that expanded access to essential services, strengthened operational performance, and supported long-term planning. His thoughtful leadership, financial expertise, and collaborative approach have earned respect across departments and across the Monadnock Region.

Rich is also deeply engaged in community and statewide advocacy. He serves on the Boards of the Greater Monadnock Collaborative, Monadnock United Way, and the New Hampshire Hospital Association, helping support strong partnerships that benefit patients and families across the region.

As Rich prepares to officially step into his new role in March, he will continue to work closely with outgoing President and CEO Cyndee McGuire to support a smooth transition. The hospital community looks forward to his leadership and the continued focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality care close to home.
