Embracing Community Growth and Innovation This Summer

Dear Friends,

This summer continues to bring warmth, vibrant landscapes and exciting news at MCH!

In this newsletter, you will see the smiling faces of our staff and the joy of new additions to our community.

We are excited to announce that MCH is opening its own Cardiology practice, Monadnock Cardiology Associates (MCA), in October 2024! Dr. Robert Spencer and Brooke O’Connor, APRN, will join us, bringing their extensive experience to our community. While we transition from services previously provided by Catholic Medical Center’s New England Heart & Vascular Institute, we are committed to providing a smooth transition of cardiology care and will provide updates as they become available. If you have any questions, please call 603-924-7191 x4646.

Our Healing Arts Gallery opened with a new exhibit, “Summer Splash” featuring works from talented employees and family members. This display is a splendid example of the diverse talent we have amongst our MCH family. I invite you to visit the gallery to view these incredible works, open 24 hours a day, and 365 days of the year.

Below, you will read about the generous bequest left to MCH by the late Phyllis Scott and her love of our community and hospital. It is the generosity of our donors that allows us to continue our mission of improving the health and wellbeing of our community.

Our ongoing commitment to providing resources for the community remains and I am delighted to share our upcoming fall Health and Wellness seminar series, highlighting important topics from Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, Pelvic Health and Maternal Nutrition. These free seminars are a great way to engage with medical providers in a supportive community atmosphere.

Lastly, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support of MCH and I wish you and your family a season of sunshine and beautiful memories!
