After 11 Years of Leadership, MCH President & CEO to Step Down in Early 2026

After more than a decade of dedicated leadership at Monadnock Community Hospital and a nearly 50-year career in healthcare, President and CEO Cyndee McGuire, FACHE, has announced her plans to retire in early 2026.

Cyndee has served as President and CEO of MCH since 2014, leading the hospital through a period of growth, innovation, and historic challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic with a steady focus on quality care and community well-being.

“Being your leader has not only been a privilege, but it has also been one of the greatest joys of my career and my life,” said McGuire. “I will leave here with great confidence in the future of MCH thanks to the outstanding care you will continue to provide for our patients and community every day.”

The MCH Board of Trustees has already formed a search committee and partnered with WittKieffer, a nationally recognized healthcare search firm, to conduct the search for MCH’s next CEO.

Paul Faber, Chair of the MCH Board of Trustees, remarked, “Cyndee’s leadership has been a gift to our hospital and community.”

Cyndee’s leadership legacy includes major investments in patient-centered care, expanded services, strengthened partnerships, and community-focused innovation. Her retirement marks the end of a remarkable era, but the vision she set forth will continue guiding MCH for years to come.
