Dr. Lucas is an orthopedic surgeon with specialized fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He provides care for patients of all ages, helping them recover from injuries, manage joint pain, and return to the activities they enjoy.
His clinical interests include sports injuries, sprains and strains, fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, arthritis, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Lucas emphasizes personalized, evidence-based orthopedic care, working with patients to understand their needs and develop treatment plans that support their recovery and long-term mobility.
About Robert C. Lucas, MD
Dr. Lucas earned his Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts T.H. Chan School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation, followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital.
His advanced training in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine supports his approach to treating injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on helping patients regain function and maintain active lifestyles.
