Understanding Fatty Liver Disease

Fatty liver disease occurs when excess fat accumulates in the liver. While many people experience no symptoms in the early stages, the condition can progress over time and may lead to inflammation, scarring, cirrhosis, or liver failure.

Because fatty liver disease is closely connected to metabolic health, addressing risk factors early can significantly improve long-term outcomes.
