Richard Scheinblum

President and CEO

Rich has served Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) for more than two decades. He obtained his BS in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and his MBA from Plymouth State College. Rich’s prior work experience includes leadership and analytical roles at The Devereux Foundation, Newington Children’s Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, and Crotched Mountain Foundation, where he focused on reimbursement, fiscal analysis, operational redesign, and decision support in complex care environments. Rich is actively involved in statewide and regional organizations, serving on the Board of the New Hampshire Hospital Association, the Board of Managers for a Wellvana ACO, as Board Member and Treasurer of the Greater Monadnock Collaborative, and as a member of the Finance Committee of the Monadnock United Way. He lives in Peterborough and has two adult children.

Barbara McIntosh, MSN

Chief Nursing Officer

Barbara joined Monadnock Community Hospital in April of 2024 as the Director of Nursing, overseeing the Medical Surgical Unit, The Birthing Suite, and the Night House Supervisors. With over 23 years of leadership experience, most recently as the Clinical Operations Director of the New England Heart Institute at Catholic Medical Center, she has extensive experience in a wide variety of nursing leadership overseeing nursing education, inpatient cardiac care, along with telehealth and stroke programs. Barbara received her Master of Nursing Degree from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, NH. She is passionate about excellence in patient care. Barbara is a lifelong resident of NH and currently resides in Epsom with her husband Craig. She looks forward to continuing the advancement of high-quality care for the Monadnock region.

Daniel Perli, MD, MBA, FACP

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Perli joined Monadnock Community Hospital in October 2017 as the Medical Director for the Hospitalist Program and transitioned to the role of Chief Medical Officer in April 2021. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Vincent Hospital, in affiliation with UMass in Worcester, MA. Additionally, Dr. Perli holds a master’s degree in business administration from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and continues to practice as a hospitalist physician. Prior to joining MCH, Dr. Perli served as the Director of Utilization Management and Physician Advisor for Clinical Documentation at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.

Rochelle J. Sokol, MBA

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

Rochelle joined Monadnock Community Hospital in 2007 as the Director of Budget & Government Reimbursements and subsequently served as Controller and Director of Finance. She obtained her BS in Accounting and International Business from Lasell University and her MBA from Plymouth State University.  Rochelle’s extensive financial experience spans 30 years in several industries including healthcare, insurance, and private equity. She is a member of the Health Financial Management Association and is a certified National Rural Health Association CFO. She has served as a member of the River Center Finance and Advisory Committees. She looks forward to continuing to ensure the financial viability of the hospital to serve current and future generations in the community. She is a life-long New England resident and enjoys spending time with family, painting, sewing, and traveling.

Laura A. Gingras, CPA, CFRE

Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Relations

Laura joined MCH in 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in health care philanthropy and communications.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Glassboro State University and holds a master’s degree in management from Emmanuel College. Laura is also holds CFRE and FCEP designation and a CPA certification.  She is an active volunteer in the community and serves on the board of Scott-Farrar at Peterborough.  Laura is past President of the Peterborough Rotary Club, past Chair of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Board and was the recipient of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce’s Woman of the Year award in 2018.  Laura lives in Peterborough with her husband Dave and their cats.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and hiking.

Denise Lord

Vice President of Organizational Performance

Denise joined MCH in February of 2022. She has 40 years of Nursing experience in a variety of settings and over 28 years experience in Healthcare Quality and Safety.  Denise earned her Nursing degree from Rivier University in Nashua NH and holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from New England College in Henniker NH. She is a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality, Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds additional certifications as a Healthcare Improvement Advisor and Healthcare Analytics Specialist. She has previous management experience in Acute, Long Term and Skilled Care settings as well as Insurance/ Managed Care settings. Denise also had the privilege of serving Veterans in various nursing and quality roles in the Veteran’s Health Care Administration. She and her husband are lifelong residents in the Monadnock area.

Laurie-Anne K. Roseberry, MBA

Laurie-Anne joined MCH in 2024 bringing 29 years of healthcare leadership experience. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Worcester State College and holds an MBA with a focus in Healthcare from the University of Colorado at Denver. Laurie is a versatile leader with experience working in both private physician practices, employed physician practices and hospital/academic settings. Laurie also spent time working as a healthcare consultant for a large Boston-based architectural firm, travelling across the United States and Canada designing spaces that support efficient clinical operations in hospitals and outpatient centers. She enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family

 

Karen Paul, Ph.D. ABD, M.Ed.

Consulting Chief People Officer

Karen joined Monadnock Community Hospital in August of 2025, with a focus on completing a full assessment and building a strategic roadmap for the MCH HR organization. Karen completed her doctoral work in I/O Psychology and is an Organizational Psychologist with executive leadership experience in people strategy, executive coaching, leadership development, organizational design, transformational change, employment law and global talent business acumen across healthcare & other industries including Fortune 50 companies. She is a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt with certifications in advanced employment law, civil treatment, and psychological assessments. Karen is passionate about empowering and elevating growth & development in people and organizations. She loves being at MCH and living in New Hampshire and spends time with her best friend & husband Mike at their home in the Midwest. Karen has roots as a Minnesota lake girl, enjoys being outdoors, staying healthy and spending time with her growing family & friends.

Jon Benedict

Consulting Chief Information/Security Officer

Jon joined MCH in September 2025, bringing more than 30 years of healthcare technology and cybersecurity leadership experience across hospitals, health systems, and digital health startups. He earned his BA in Organizational Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz and holds an MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, along with advanced credentials including CISSP, CISM, HCISPP, PMP, and a certification in AI Business Strategy from Johns Hopkins University; he is also a member of ACHE. Jon is passionate about serving small to mid-sized health systems and critical access hospitals bringing his expertise in leveraging AI, cybersecurity, and digital health innovation to create sustainable value for patients, providers, and the communities they serve.  Jon serves as a volunteer board member and advisor for several organizations in the healthcare industry. Jon lives in both Smyrna, GA, and Peterborough, NH, with his wife Helen and enjoys playing golf and pursuing physical fitness.
