Occupational Therapy caters to your individual needs by addressing muscle, nerve, tendon, joint, lymph, and vascular involvement, with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses.

Your shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand injury is our priority.  We, the occupational therapists at Monadnock Community Hospital Rehabilitation, specialize in the upper extremity, offering a Certified Hand Therapist and an International Lymphedema Management Specialist. About: Jamie Hummel has been a practitioner of Occupational Therapy for five years receiving her associates degree in 2014 and her master’s degree in 2018 from Bay Path University.  In 2015, Jamie receiver her certification in Lymphedema Therapy.  Jamie works with patients to achieve health and quality of life through treatment that addressees dysfunction in the lymphatic system.  This treatment includes complete decongestive therapy, exercise, education, and compression garments.  Jamie’s other area of focus is rehabilitation for patients hospitalized due to acute illness.  This includes training in activities of daily living, safety awareness, functional mobility and energy  conservation for a safe and healthy return to home

About: Kim Taylor is a Certified Hand Therapist who specializes in injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder, helping clients with a wide range of diagnoses to regain function. She has been an Occupational Therapist at MCH since 2000. She has 15 years of experience serving both outpatient and inpatient populations. In addition, Kim has an International Certification in Lymphedema Management, working with clients who have undergone cancer treatments or have chronic swelling conditions such as venous insufficiency. She pioneered the implementation of a Cancer Survivorship Rehabilitation Program at MCH. She received her Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1996.

About: Erin Zotto has been an Occupational Therapist at MCH since 2006, when she received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England. Erin’s focus is on inpatient rehabilitation and areas of intervention include: activities of daily living (ADLs), home management and community reintegration, neuromuscular reeducation, safety awareness, functional mobility and positioning. Erin is also the Fieldwork Coordinator for OT students who complete clinical rotations at MCH, and participates in staff and community education classes throughout the calendar year.
