The Peter L. Gosline Employee Education Scholarship Fund
The Peter L. Gosline Employee Education Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 to honor the remarkable leadership and commitment of Peter L. Gosline, who served as Monadnock Community Hospital’s President and CEO from 1998 to 2014. This scholarship fund reflects Peter’s dedication to the professional growth of MCH employees, providing financial assistance to those who seek to advance their careers in healthcare through educational pursuits.
Scholarship Overview:
- Eligibility: Open to all MCH employees—both clinical and non-clinical, full-time and part-time—who have been employed for at least 12 months.
- Purpose: The scholarship supports employees enrolled in a degree or certificate program aimed at furthering their careers in healthcare.
- Award Details: The scholarship amount varies each year, with the number of recipients determined by the Selection Committee.
A Tribute to Peter L. Gosline
Peter L. Gosline retired as President and CEO of Monadnock Community Hospital in April 2014 after 16 years of transformative leadership. He joined MCH during a pivotal time of growth and became the driving force behind some of the hospital’s most significant achievements. Under his guidance, the hospital saw the successful completion of major projects such as the Bond Wellness Center, the Sarah Hogate Bacon Emergency Department, and upgrades to the Hospital’s surgical suites.
Peter’s legacy is one of passionate commitment and unflagging dedication to both the hospital and the wider community it serves. His vision and leadership have left a lasting impact, ensuring that MCH continues to thrive and grow.

From addressing mental health to combating hunger, these inspiring stories highlight the power of community connection and the difference we can make together.
In a heartwarming display of community support, local Beautycounter independent consultants collaborated with the community to donate all-natural body products to the Oncology and Infusion Therapy Center at Monadnock Community Hospital. They donated nearly 80 handmade bags, each valued at $40, containing nourishing lip gloss, body butters, soothing teas, and personalized notes of encouragement. These donations aim to provide comfort and relief to cancer patients undergoing treatment. Financial contributions from the community, along with independent Beautycounter consultants Denise Chatel, Ellen Smith, and Ruth Clark, made these donations possible.
