Community Benefits Program

At Monadnock Community Hospital, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community through a comprehensive Community Benefits Program. This program addresses the unique health needs of our local population, guided by our values of compassion, collaboration, honesty, and respect.

Subsidized Health Services We allocated $8,279,000 to subsidized health services, including chronic health programs, emergency department services, and behavioral health services. These funds ensure that all community members have access to essential medical care, regardless of their financial situation.

Charity Care Our Financial Assistance Program provided $485,000 in charity care to patients in need. This support helps cover medical expenses for individuals who may not have the means to pay for their care, ensuring they receive the necessary treatments and services.

In-kind Donations In-kind donations totaling $286,000 were made to various organizations, including EMT training and other essential services. These contributions strengthen our community by providing resources and support where they are most needed.

Community Programs We invested $268,000 in community programs such as Mobile Integrated Health and Parent Support Services. These initiatives address specific health needs within our community, promoting wellness and providing critical support to families and individuals.

Public Programs To cover gaps in Medicaid and Medicare reimbursements, we allocated $7,499,000 to public programs. This funding ensures that even the most vulnerable members of our community receive comprehensive medical care.

Through these efforts, MCH demonstrates its unwavering commitment to serving our community. Our financial transparency and dedication to addressing local health needs underscore the vital role we play in enhancing the health and well-being of our neighbors. We are proud of the impact our Community Benefits Program has had in 2022 and look forward to continuing this important work in the future.
