As we step into the vibrant season of spring and enter our second century of service to our community, I am thrilled to share some exciting developments at MCH that reaffirm our commitment to our mission to improve the health and well-being of our community. As you will see in this newsletter, we are excited to announce that we have opened our own Gastroenterology services practice at MCH. We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Michael J. Gilbert to our new practice, Monadnock Gastroenterology Associates. Dr. Gilbert has been a member of our Medical Staff for 10 years in his affiliations with Concord GI, New Hampshire GI, and Catholic Medical Center, so he will be a familiar face to many of you. We’ve also welcomed new providers in other departments, further strengthening our team’s capacity to deliver comprehensive care.
Our Mobile Integrated Healthcare program has garnered national attention, being featured on the television series “World’s Greatest,” showcasing our creative approach to assuring accessible health care. Additionally, we eagerly anticipate the opening of our Rehabilitation turf area in May, an innovative outdoor space aimed at supporting your recovery journey and helping you get back to the activities that are important to you.
We often get compliments on the cleanliness and appearance of our campus and facilities. Our most recent effort is the renovation of our Window Shop. The Window Shop is staffed entirely by MCH volunteers and is a fun, welcoming and comfortable space for our patients, community and employees to visit and shop.
I am very proud of every member of our staff at MCH. Health care is all about people, and I could not ask for a more compassionate and dedicated team. I am inspired every day by their commitment to caring for every patient who comes through our doors.
As the spring bulbs start to pop up and the world reawakens, we are reminded of the beauty of renewal and growth. Thank you for your support and advocacy throughout the seasons. I wish you all a Happy Spring!

Their Mission and Your Needs:
Since its inception in the 1990s, The River Center has evolved to become a designated Family Resource Center of Quality (FRC-Q). The River Center believes everyone deserves to thrive. That's why they provide parent education, family support, and community connections in a welcoming environment. They understand the challenges and changing needs of our community, and their programs and services are designed to address them head-on.
Building Strong Families:
Everyone from Newborns to Grandparents and Households of One
Connection is a major concern for families today and The River Center is addressing that need in many ways. They help individuals grow, learn, and connect.
