Honoring Compassion: 2024 DAISY Award Ceremony Celebrates Nursing Excellence

Celebrating Excellence in Nursing at MCH

Today, we are proud to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of our nurses at Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) during our 10th Annual DAISY Award Ceremony. This event is a testament to our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare and highlights the dedication of our nursing team in enhancing patient care.

As part of a global network of over 5,400 healthcare facilities and nursing schools, MCH participates in the DAISY Award program to honor nurses who consistently demonstrate excellence and provide extraordinary compassionate care to patients and their families. This year, we are thrilled to celebrate our 10th DAISY Award winner and honor our 100th nominee, marking a significant milestone in our journey of excellence in nursing.

A Legacy of Compassionate Care

The DAISY Award, established in 2000 by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, celebrates the profound impact of nurses who go above and beyond to care for their patients. Patrick’s family created this award in honor of the extraordinary care he received during his illness. Today, the DAISY Award continues to shine a light on the critical role nurses play in delivering compassionate and exceptional healthcare worldwide.

At MCH, we are deeply proud of our nursing team’s continued commitment to excellence. As we celebrate the remarkable achievements of our nurses, we reflect on the strong foundation of care and dedication that has sustained us for over 100 years.
