Zoe was nominated by multiple families who praised her attentive, steady presence during long inductions, fast labors, and complicated deliveries. One nominator described how Zoe listened to her body—not just the monitors—and caught their daughter during a fast paced delivery. Another credited Zoe for turning a challenging, multi-day induction into a memory they’ll forever cherish.

The award’s highest honor went to Registered Nurse Zoe Crowley, a Labor and Delivery nurse whose intuition, kindness, and calm presence turned unpredictable births into empowering, positive experiences. The event featured remarks from President and CEO Cyndee McGuire, now in her 11th year, and Chief Nursing Officer Vicki Campanile, who shared excerpts from 32 moving nominations.

“This is a day to celebrate the heart of MCH,” said McGuire. “Our nurses show up every day with compassion, strength, and professionalism that changes lives.”
