During Your Stay

Postpartum Care for Mother and Baby

Immediately after giving birth, your room is quietly converted from a labor and delivery room to a warm, cozy environment where you can heal and learn about your new baby. Family and friends are welcome with you in this home-like atmosphere.

During your stay at the Birthing Suite, we continually monitor the health status of you and your baby. Our obstetricians and newborn care providers make daily visits to your room. Our nursing staff assesses your baby’s health and answers questions you may have about feeding and caring for your newborn. We monitor your health and discuss self-care with you.

The Birthing Suite is equipped by an Electronic Infant Security System. Our nurses will talk to you about the security and safety of your baby while you are at the Birthing Suite.
