[0] => Rudi Flik knows a thing or two about excellence. From the time he landed in America as a 14-year-old German immigrant through a long career building one of the nation’s top hospitality businesses, Rudi has always focused on quality, service, and exceeding expectations. Now retired, with homes in Florida and New Hampshire, Rudi still exudes the energy, directness, and charm that made him so successful.
But as most retirees will tell you, having access to good health care is essential for enjoying this stage of life. And when Rudi is living in his Francestown home, he relies on Monadnock Community Hospital for his care.
“MCH is just down the road in Peterborough,” says Rudi, “so it’s very convenient. And fortunately for me, the primary care and specialty teams at MCH are both excellent.”
In 2021, Rudi had knee replacement surgery through his son’s orthopedic practice in New York. When it came to physical therapy, however, Rudi chose the Physical Therapy team at MCH’s Bond Wellness Center. Director of MCH’s Rehabilitation Services and Physical Therapist, Lynne Maloney, worked with Rudi over several weeks to restore his knee strength and range of motion.
“I knew I was in good hands when I met Lynne,” says Rudi. “She is a true professional who projects quiet competence. I’ve had a lot of sports injuries in my life and a lot of physical therapy, so I’m always appreciative when I meet someone like Lynne, who’s both knowledgeable and skilled.”
Rudi also was impressed with the environment the Bond Wellness Center offered for his therapy. “I was amazed by the graciousness of the space and by all the therapeutic facilities. I was very comfortable there.”

In addition to choosing MCH for physical therapy, Rudi also relies on Dr. Derek Anderson of Monadnock Family Care for his primary care needs. “It’s good to know that when I’m in New Hampshire, I have a top-notch health care team so close by.”
Today Rudi’s knee is feeling much better and he’s back to enjoying the summer in Francestown, with family close by and great health care just minutes away.
“For me, choosing MCH was a no-brainer,” says Rudi. “It’s not simply because MCH is convenient but also because of the exceptional care they provide. I trust my MCH care team to help me stay healthy and active.”

[0] => Rudi Flik knows a thing or two about excellence. From the time he landed in America as a 14-year-old German immigrant through a long career building one of the nation’s top hospitality businesses, Rudi has always focused on quality, service, and exceeding expectations. Now retired, with homes in Florida and New Hampshire, Rudi still exudes the energy, directness, and charm that made him so successful.
But as most retirees will tell you, having access to good health care is essential for enjoying this stage of life. And when Rudi is living in his Francestown home, he relies on Monadnock Community Hospital for his care.
“MCH is just down the road in Peterborough,” says Rudi, “so it’s very convenient. And fortunately for me, the primary care and specialty teams at MCH are both excellent.”
In 2021, Rudi had knee replacement surgery through his son’s orthopedic practice in New York. When it came to physical therapy, however, Rudi chose the Physical Therapy team at MCH’s Bond Wellness Center. Director of MCH’s Rehabilitation Services and Physical Therapist, Lynne Maloney, worked with Rudi over several weeks to restore his knee strength and range of motion.
“I knew I was in good hands when I met Lynne,” says Rudi. “She is a true professional who projects quiet competence. I’ve had a lot of sports injuries in my life and a lot of physical therapy, so I’m always appreciative when I meet someone like Lynne, who’s both knowledgeable and skilled.”
Rudi also was impressed with the environment the Bond Wellness Center offered for his therapy. “I was amazed by the graciousness of the space and by all the therapeutic facilities. I was very comfortable there.”
