About

Dr. Jenkins was born and raised in Oklahoma. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK and received a Bachelor of Science degree with magna cum laude honors in Mathematics. She then earned her medical degree with distinction at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, OK.

She completed her residency at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital (Temple, TX). During her residency, she received extensive training in the care of pregnant patients, including high-risk pregnancies, as well as a well-rounded education in gynecologic conditions. She works with her patients to find a solution to their issues, including lifestyle changes, medical, and surgical management. Her surgical training emphasized minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic and vaginal approaches to hysterectomy, to allow her to provide the best care possible to her patients whenever a surgical approach is appropriate. She is Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) certified.

Dr. Jenkins values a shared decision making a model with her patients and firmly believes that the best course of action is one that merges the latest medical evidence with her patients’ values and experiences. She provides gynecologic care across the entire lifespan, and her other special clinical interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, and management of abnormal Pap smears. She looks forward to partnering with her patients to improve their health. Dr. Jenkins is board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
