Monadnock Community Hospital recently hosted a two-day Integrated Response to an Active Attack training course for more than 30 local first-responders, including police, fire, and EMS teams from Peterborough, Dublin, Greenfield, and New Ipswich.

Led by the ALERRT team from Texas State University, the 16-hour training combined classroom instruction with hands-on exercises to improve coordination during high-risk emergencies. The hospital provided the space free of charge to support regional preparedness.

“This was an incredible opportunity to train together across departments,” said Peterborough Police Chief Scott Guinard. MCH CEO Cynthia McGuire added, “This collaboration shows the strength of our local emergency response network.”
