Employee Call: Submit Your Photo for Through the Looking Glass

About the exhibition

The Healing Arts Gallery at Monadnock Community Hospital invites employees to take part in our November exhibition, Through the Looking Glass. This special show highlights the creativity of our staff through a collection of photographs taken on cell phones. 

  • Who can participate: MCH employees only 
  • Submission window: Now through October 31 
  • Location: Healing Arts Gallery at Monadnock Community Hospital (open to the public, free to visit) 

How to submit (2 simple steps)

Step 1 — Register & agree to the guidelines.
Pay the $10.00 entry fee and confirm you agree to the Exhibition Guidelines (see below). 

  • After payment, you’ll receive a receipt email with the official submission instructions. 

When you email your file, please include: 

  • Your full name 
  • The location where the photo was taken 
  • 1–2 brief sentences to inform viewers about your subject and/or inspiration 
  • Optional title for your photo 

Important: Your submission is not complete until the photo file and details have been emailed. Deadline is October 31. 

By submitting artwork to the Employee Photo Gallery Show, participants acknowledge that their work may be displayed publicly within the hospital (and in related promotional materials, if applicable). Submissions must be original work, appropriate for all audiences, and meet the gallery guidelines. The gallery reserves the right to decline any entry that does not follow these standards. 

File & content requirements

Please prepare your image using the simple standards below so we can print and mount it beautifully. 

  • File type: JPG/JPEG only. (No “Live Photo” HEIC files or PNG format.) 
  • Image type: Single, high resolution, still image (no collages, animations, or video). 
  • Source: Photo must have been taken on a cellular phone. 
  • One entry per participant. 
  • Content suitability: Entries must be appropriate for all audiences. To keep the exhibit welcoming for everyone, photos with explicit, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content will not be displayed. 
  • Deadline: October 31. Please choose carefully – All submissions are final and entry fees are non-refundable. 

What your fee covers

Your $10 entry fee covers the gallery’s cost to print and mount your photo for display during the exhibition. You will be given your printed photo to keep once the exhibit ends. 

After you pay: what to expect

  • You’ll receive a receipt email with step-by-step instructions on how to send your digital photo file. 
  • If you don’t see the receipt within one day, check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, contact Caroline Gomez at Caroline.Gomez@MCHMail.org or 603-924-1762. 
  • Please do not email photos to Caroline directly. Make sure to follow the instructions provided in your receipt to complete your submission.
