Provider Spotlight: Liz Peters

Meet Liz Peters, the dedicated cardiac rehab coordinator at MCH since 2013. As a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist, Liz’s journey at MCH began in 2005, navigating through various departments all centered around chronic disease management, fitness, and wellness. It wasn’t until later that she discovered her passion in cardiac rehabilitation, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the program’s reputation as one of the finest in the state. With unwavering patience and compassion, Liz serves as a guiding light for her patients during their recovery journey. She educates them on essential lifestyle changes, emphasizing the significance of quality nutrition, diet, self-monitoring, and tailored exercise routines. Beyond the hospital walls, Liz is a devoted coach and cheerleader for her boys, Cameron and Aksel, actively participating in their sport of the season. Liz Peters embodies the spirit of care through her commitment to enhancing the well-being of the community at MCH.
