The Healing Arts Gallery at Monadnock Community Hospital invites the community to experience Collections, a rare exhibition featuring works from three local private collections. On view are Japanese prints, “happened-upon” art, and antique boxes; treasures rarely seen by the public. 

Collections brings together: 

• Exquisite Japanese prints from the Mary Loftis and Paul Tuller Collection 

• Captivating “happened-upon” art from Jane Simpson 

• Intriguing antique boxes from Soosen Dunholter 

Together, these pieces create an intimate look at art that blends history, culture, and imagination. 

The Healing Arts Gallery is more than a display space. It is a place where art helps support healing, comfort, and connection. By opening these private collections to the public, the gallery offers a rare opportunity for reflection and inspiration within the Monadnock community.

The gallery reopens with an exhibit titled Monadnock which encompasses multiple interpretations of Mt. Monadnock. This exhibition hosts over 30 local artists as well as an engaging lasting mural installation by artist Lee Dunholter, titled The Mural. The Monadnock art show will be on display until September 8th.

The Healing Arts Gallery is very enthusiastic about the re-opening and plans to continue with quarterly art gallery shows featuring local artists. Thank you to all of the artists who have supported the gallery and its re-opening.
