"My decision to become a clinician was mostly influenced by my mom, who was a nurse," Dr. Vache reflects, his voice warm with remembrance. This early inspiration, coupled with encouragement from his then-girlfriend—now his wife of 25 years—led him to orthopedic surgery, a decision that would shape countless lives in the years to come.

World-Class Training Meets Small-Town Care

Dr. Vache's remarkable journey began at Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia. His pursuit of excellence took him across Europe and eventually to the United States, where he trained at prestigious institutions including Brown University and the University of Maryland's renowned Shock Trauma Center. Today, he brings this wealth of experience to the Monadnock region, specializing in:

The Art of Healing: More Than Surgery

In the operating room, Dr. Vache's technical precision is matched only by his gentle demeanor.

"The most rewarding part of my specialty," he shares, "is seeing patients walk out after surgery with their pain resolved and their symptoms fully alleviated. It's about witnessing them regain their mobility, reclaim their freedom, and return to the activities they love."

This approach has touched many lives, including Louise DelPapa, who found renewed hope under Dr. Vache's care after suffering multiple spine fractures from osteoporosis. His careful guidance and unwavering encouragement exemplify the perfect blend of medical expertise and compassionate care.

$Louise DelPapa Dr. Vache was very kind and compassionate, and was conservative with my care. After he explained the pros and cons of surgery, we decided to treat my condition non-surgically. He kept encouraging me, assuring me that the fractures would be minimized, my pain would lessen, and my mobility would improve with a combination of medications and physical therapy. He was right!$

Giving Back: A Global Mission

Dr. Vache's commitment extends far beyond New Hampshire's borders. Through his work with Traveling Doctors and regular mission trips to Armenia, he embodies the spirit of global healthcare education and service.

"I believe in sharing the knowledge and training I was fortunate to receive at some of the best universities in the United States," he explains. "Returning to Armenia to teach and perform surgeries allows me to give back and contribute to the growth of future healthcare professionals. It's deeply fulfilling to pass on what I've learned and to help enhance medical care where it's needed most."

Life Beyond the Operating Room

When not performing surgery or teaching abroad, Dr. Vache embraces the charm of the Monadnock region. An avid jogger, he finds joy in exploring local trails and discovering local family-owned restaurants. His integration into the community makes him more than just a surgeon—he's a valued neighbor and friend.
