As healthcare scams continue to rise nationwide, Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) is taking action to protect patients, families, and community members. The hospital has launched a public awareness campaign called “Slam the Scam,” aimed at helping individuals recognize and respond to fraudulent calls. These scams often involve impersonators claiming to be from hospitals, Medicare, or insurance companies—pressuring people into giving up sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, Medicare IDs, or banking details. MCH is committed to empowering the community with the knowledge to stay vigilant and safe.
