Monadnock Community Hospital understands our patients may have questions about the billing process. Below are answers to the most commonly asked questions.

Can I pay my bill with cash?

Effective October 1, 2025, we will no longer accept cash for copay or patient balance payments. This update makes paying safer, faster, and more accurate. You can choose from several convenient options: credit card, debit card, personal check, or money order. You’ll always receive a receipt for your records. Please note that cash is still accepted at the Café, Pharmacy, Gift Shop, and Philanthropy.

Yes, the Prompt Pay Discount makes healthcare more accessible and affordable for you and your family.

How do I obtain an itemized bill?

An itemized bill will be gladly submitted free of charge on request. Please call the Billing Department at 603-924-4656 to request one.
