[0] => On September 6, 2024, Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) hosted its 28th Annual Fall Foliage Golf Classic at the beautiful Crotched Mountain Golf Club in Francestown, NH. The event, which drew 140 players and over 30 volunteers, proved once again to be a remarkable success, raising nearly $81,000 for MCH's Financial Assistance Program . These funds will directly support approximately 1,800 patients annually who rely on financial assistance to manage their healthcare expenses.
The generous contributions from over 50 corporate and individual sponsors, including Hutter Construction, the tournament’s major sponsor for 18 consecutive years, played a significant role in this achievement. Local businesses and volunteers came together to make the event possible, embodying the spirit of community support.
LeeAnn Clark-Moore, Director of Philanthropy, Marketing, and Community Relations, expressed gratitude: “We are incredibly thankful for the ongoing support of our sponsors, players, and volunteers. Their contributions help to ensure that everyone in our community has access to the care they need, regardless of financial barriers.”
Among the many highlights of the day was the winning team, the Flocking Flamingos, who demonstrated extraordinary generosity by donating their prize back to MCH. Their team included Lou Campanile, Vicki Campanile, Norm Vescey, and Maria Pellini.
MCH extends its heartfelt thanks to all who participated, making this event a tremendous success. As we celebrate this year’s accomplishments, we look forward to many more years of community partnership and support through the Fall Foliage Golf Classic .
