Service Animals

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), MCH welcomes Federally-recognized service dogs and mini horses. Some access restrictions may apply to sterile areas as clinically necessary, such as the operating room.

Please know that while we strive to support our patients’ well-being and comfort, non-service animals – including Emotional Support Animals – may not enter our buildings without prior approval. This standard is to respect the health and safety of all our staff, visitors, and patients who may have allergies, fear of animals, or compromised immune systems. If you have questions about non-service animals, please contact our Infection Preventionist at 603-924-4699 ext. 1101 or Brian.Earnshaw@MCHMail.org.
