A Legacy of Giving Back

The Window Shop, under the kind stewardship of our dedicated auxiliary volunteers, has been a pillar of support for MCH since its inception. All profits from the shop directly benefit the hospital.

Over the decades, our volunteers have raised substantial funds that have been instrumental in improving patient care. Their contributions have facilitated projects like:

  • Electronic medication dispensing tracking program
  • Establishment of a comprehensive simulation lab for staff and EMT training
  • Acquisition of oversized gurneys for the operating room
  • Numerous upgrades to the Birthing Suite

More Than Just Patient Care

During the challenging times of the pandemic, the Window Shop pivoted its focus to show appreciation for MCH’s hardworking staff. Proceeds were used to fund morale-boosting initiatives like homemade dinner raffles and other supportive programs.

The Window Shop’s legacy of giving also extends to the community’s littlest members. For nearly two decades, the shop has donated an endearing tradition – approximately 300 onesie t-shirts to babies born at MCH each year!

A Team Effort

The Window Shop wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering dedication of our amazing volunteers. Nancy Speeney, one of our volunteers, shares her heartfelt sentiment:

“Being a volunteer here is incredibly fulfilling and I truly look forward to coming in every day.”

We invite you to visit the Window Shop, support our mission of compassionate care, and discover the joy of giving back to our community!
