Rheumatology Services at MCH
Rheumatology deals with diseases of the muscle system and/or skeleton as well as various autoimmune diseases. Autoimmune conditions occur when a patient’s immune system sends inflammation to areas of the body where it’s not needed. This can cause the patient symptoms and potentially damage to various bones, joints and tissues.
Exceptional advances in both research and medicine have transformed the treatment and outcomes for patients with rheumatic diseases. MCH is a provider of care to patients with systemic inflammatory autoimmune disorders and osteoporosis.
We provide the most advanced care and work with each patient to create an individual plan for managing rheumatic disease.
