Enjoy the MCH Walking Path, a Simple Way to Support Your Health

Monadnock Community Hospital invites community members, visitors, and staff to enjoy a relaxing, easy-to-follow walking path right on our campus. Designed as a safe and accessible half-mile loop, the MCH Walking Path offers a refreshing way to add movement into your day while enjoying views of our campus and surrounding landscape.

The path begins at the Bond Wellness Center and follows a clearly marked route around key campus buildings, including the Medical Arts Building and the Emergency Department. With paved sidewalks, accessible crossings, and emergency call boxes along the way, the walking path offers a supportive space for gentle exercise.

Walking just 12 to 15 minutes (the estimated time to complete the loop) can contribute to meaningful health benefits, especially when practiced regularly.

This path is approximately 1/2 mile long.

How to Follow the Walking Path

These easy steps will guide you along the full campus loop:

  2. Continue past the Medical Arts Building entrance and walk downhill toward the Emergency Department parking lot.

  3. At the bottom of the hill, turn right and follow the sidewalk past the Emergency Department entrance toward the Parmelee Building.

  4. At the crosswalk, cross over and turn left.

  5. Walk along the perimeter of the Emergency Department parking lot until you reach the rotary.

  6. Cross the road at the rotary and walk up the small grass hill. At the top, turn left toward the Medical Arts Building.

  7. Continue along the sidewalk to circle back to the front entrance of the Bond Wellness Center.
