MCH MCH Cardiac Rehab Receives Gift

Peterborough, NH - The Monadnock Quilters' Guild presented a gift of $1,000 to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at MCH. This gift was the proceeds of the silent auction of members' quilts held during the annual quilters' show. Barbara Dalrymple, Medical Rehabilitation Coordinator at MCH, and members of the Quilters?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ Guild discussed the needs of the department and unanimously agreed to designate portions of the monetary contribution to a scholarship fund for individuals who need additional cardiac rehab services beyond what is covered by insurance.

Other areas of interest for the proper distribution of funds would be to improve and update the education manuals or possibly develop materials on DVD for use in the program.

According to Barbara, ?¢‚Ǩ?ìthis generous donation will enable MCH to continue to deliver the influential message about heart disease and prevention.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù
