MCH Welcomes Elizabeth E. Cooley, MD
Peterborough, NH - Family physician, Elizabeth E. Cooley, MD, will be joining the Monadnock Family Care practice early in March. Dr. Cooley comes to MCH from ten years at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. She received a BA in English and American Literature from Harvard University, where she graduated cum laude. Her medical degree was earned at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Alpha Omega Alpha is known as the Phi Beta Kappa for medical schools. It is the only national honor medical society, its mission, developed over the past 100 years, has been to recognize and enhance professionalism, academic excellence, service and leadership within the medical profession. Dr. Cooley?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s residency was spent at the University of Minnesota?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Riverside University Family Practice in Minneapolis. Her certifications include the NH Board of Medical Practice, National Board of Medical Examiners, American Board of Family Practice, and the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Cooley and her husband, Stephen Buzzell, MD, who will be providing coverage in the Emergency Department, and their family will be relocating to Peterborough from Whitefield, NH
