New Therapist at Monadnock Behavioral Health Services

Peterborough, NH - Monadnock Community Hospital has added Sam Rosario, LICSW, as an outpatient therapist at Monadnock Behavioral Health Services.

Sam works with children, adolescents, adults and families, specializing in addressing behaviors, emotional and learning problems with children and adolescents. Other areas of special interest include mood disorders, couples work, assisting patients and their families coping with medical issues, and cross-cultural counseling. Sam's approach to therapy is that it is goal oriented using practical applications and strategies to enhance functioning. He emphasizes collaborative problem solving and empowerment.

Sam earned a Masters degree from Fordham University, School of Social Services in New York City and has a Bachelors degree in Elementary education and Spanish literature from Elmira College in New York. As a New York State certified teacher, Sam taught in public and private schools. His prior counseling and administrative experience includes working in schools, clinics and hospitals.
