General Information

How to Register for a Class:

All participants are required to pre-register due to space considerations.

Please contact Cornelia Taylor (via e-mail or voice mail) 48 hours prior to cancel your registration. We often have waiting lists for programs and can offer your place to someone else that is looking to attend.

Registration Fees:

We ask for prepayment of registration fees. Payment may be by check or money order made out to Monadnock Community Hospital, unless otherwise indicated in the program description. If a department is paying for tuition and/or books, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure payment.

Cancellation / Refunds

Registrants will be notified as soon as possible in the event a program is changed or cancelled. In case of inclement weather, if the Conval School District cancels school, classes scheduled for that day will be cancelled. If school is not in session, please call the hospital operator at 603-924-7191 to inquire about course cancellations. Community Health reserves the right to cancel a program du to minimal enrollment and will notify registrants in advance for any program cancellation.

Registrants must notify MCH / Community Health of non-attendance in any class.  If 48 hours is not provided, the following fees will be levied:

  • Heartsaver (Layperson) CPR/AED&First Aid: $20.00
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) for HCP (BLS): $35.00
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): $75.00
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): $75.00

Registrant’s will receive full refund for any program cancelled by the Community Health program coordinator. Course completion cards / Contact Hour / Cont. Education Certificates will not be issued until registration fees are paid in full.

Books / Materials:

The American Heart Association requires all participants to have access to the appropriate AHA Material before, during, and after class. If a student already has the appropriate material, and new material is issued to the student, the material may be returned on the first day of class. (IF THE MATERIAL IS STILL IN THE WRAPPER). If the books are opened, it will be the student’s responsibility to purchase the materials. Cards will not be issued until all materials are paid in full. If participants already have current textbooks (Copyright 2006 or newer), the price of the textbook will be deducted from the cost of the course. Please advise if you have the materials when you sign up for course.

Program Locations / Parking:

Programs are conducted at various locations on the hospital campus. Please review the confirmation letter that will be sent to you when you enroll for the exact course location. If a location is changed, registrants will be notified as soon as possible. Directions to MCH are available here. Please allow adequate time to locate a parking space.
